About Constructive Academy

At Constructive Academy, we don’t just design buildings, we teach you how to design them yourself. We specialize in practical, real-world education for wood and hybrid structures, helping architects, designers, engineers, and builders develop the skills they need to take a project from idea to fully coordinated, buildable plans. Through step-by-step training, project-based lessons, and technical resources, we focus on: - Integrated architectural, structural, and MEP coordination - Designing residential and light commercial projects from concept through permit-ready documents - Applying building codes and standards such as IBC, IRC, ASCE 7, NDS, WFCM, and ASHRAE in real workflows - Using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and specialized structural and HVAC software to create accurate, buildable drawings Our goal is to turn theory into skill. We break down complex topics, smart framing, durable detailing, load paths, energy performance, and more, into clear, actionable training you can apply on your next project the same day. At our core, Constructive Studio stands for clarity, efficiency, and integrity in design education, equipping you with the technical confidence to design and document projects that are code-compliant, coordinated, and ready to build.
