About Containatech SA (pty) ltd

Containatech is a Cape Town-based construction company specialising in container homes, Nutec homes, steel structures and modular buildings. We deliver high-quality, cost-effective alternatives to traditional construction, designed for modern living, income generation and scalable development. Our full turnkey service covers everything from design and planning to final handover, including foundations, structural work, plumbing, electrical and complete finishes. All units are built in our controlled Blackheath workshop, allowing for better quality control, faster build times and reduced site delays compared to conventional building methods. Container homes start from R238,000, offering an accessible entry point for homeowners, while also creating strong returns for investors. Our range includes bachelor units, one and two bedroom homes, granny flats, backyard rental units, Airbnb accommodation, farm units, offices, classrooms, ablution facilities and custom commercial conversions. For homeowners, we provide modern, durable homes at a lower cost with quicker delivery. For investors, we create efficient rental units designed for consistent cash flow and long-term returns. For developers, our modular approach allows for faster rollout of multiple units, reducing build time, labour risk and project delays. Compared to traditional building, our method reduces construction time, improves cost predictability and minimises on-site disruption. This makes it ideal for projects where speed, budget control and scalability are critical. Containatech is NHBRC registered and fully insured with public liability cover, giving clients confidence throughout the building process. We also offer finance options on selected products to help turn plans into reality. We don’t just build structures—we deliver practical, scalable solutions for living, business and investment.
