About Côte d'Ivoire International Training & Education for Health (I-TECH CIV)

I-TECH CIV is an Ivorian non-governmental organization created in 2021, heir to the International Center for Training and Education for Health (I-TECH) of the University of Washington. Present in Côte d'Ivoire since 2009, our mission is to strengthen access to quality health care through innovative and user-centered digital solutions, in collaboration with our international partners. As a center of the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington, we benefit from the joint expertise of the schools of medicine and public health to design and deploy digital health solutions adapted to local needs. Our expertise is based on the use of OpenELIS laboratory information systems (LIS), health information systems (HIS), and health information exchange (HIE), all based on open source standards. Our areas of intervention: • Strengthening health information systems: We improve the interoperability and efficiency of health systems by integrating digital solutions adapted to the Ivorian health ecosystem. • Training of health professionals: By providing specialized training, we help sector stakeholders master digital tools and improve the quality of care provided. • Continuous improvement of the quality of care: We set up evaluation and monitoring mechanisms to ensure constant improvement of health services. • Maintenance of laboratory equipment: We ensure rigorous monitoring and maintenance of laboratory equipment to guarantee its availability and performance. We place technology at the heart of the transformation of health systems for a sustainable and inclusive future.
