About Council of Agencies Serving South Asians

The Council of Agencies Serving South Asians (CASSA) is a premier national social justice umbrella organization representing over 120 member agencies and a vast network of individuals across Canada. For over two decades, CASSA has served as a strategic resource for research, mobilization and policy advocacy. While historically rooted in Ontario, our national expansion has established a robust presence with leadership in Alberta, British Columbia and Quebec. CASSA's work spans critical social justice issues including health equity, poverty reduction, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and anti-racism initiatives. Through high-impact projects like the South Asian Social Justice Network (SASJN), we aim to bridge the gap between grassroots community needs and national policy change to empower South Asian voices across Canada. If you wish to support our mission/mandate, you can become a member of CASSA. Please visit our website www.cassa.ca for details on our mission, vision, values and strategic priorities. Members will receive a weekly update on various things happening in the social services/social justice field in Canadas South Asian communities. Joining as a member will also keep you informed of opportunities about jobs, funding, volunteering and community events. To know more about CASSA membership, visit Cassa.ca/membership
