Counterbalance brings 10 years of experience treating and working with adults and adolescents facing life challenges, past or current trauma, and grief recovery. We believe therapy is most beneficial when clients and therapists are comfortable with one another, aligned in the counseling goals, and can build a trusting relationship. All Counterbalance therapists value establishing a warm, non-judgmental connection with clients to help them work through challenges and achieve personal goals. We also believe that, for some clients, the combination of therapy and medications is the best path towards achieving peace of mind and your mental healthcare goals. Medication serves an important role in mental healthcare. It can reduce symptoms and prevent relapses of symptoms. We have a board-certified Psychiatric Physician Assistant available for clients who need medication management and is offered via telehealth. We take a collaborative approach to addressing our clients' needs. Our clients feel truly heard, understood, and safe.
