About Counting Coral

Through the innovative approach of submerging structural and functional artwork, Counting Coral brings about a transformation in the human engagement with coral reef restoration. Bridging the gap between art and science, Counting Coral creates, donates, and installs Sculptural Coral Gene Banks. These innovative structures play a key role in systematic conservation efforts, helping to strengthen coral gene stocks in fragile reef ecosystems, while also raising awareness about their importance.
