About Country Education Foundation of Walgett

There’s a lot of kids in the Walgett/Lightning Ridge area who don’t pursue tertiary education because they can’t afford it. Country Education Foundation of Walgett provides grants to young people every year by tax deductible fundraising. Last year we supported 9 applicants with over $20,000. This year, in very tough times, we have 18 applicants.
