About Covid-19 Bereaved Families For Justice

We are the largest organised group of those who have lost loved ones to Covid-19 across the UK. Formed in April 2020, the group has campaigned for a statutory inquiry into Covid-19, culminating in an announcement by the Prime Minister in May 2021 and the chair being announced in December the same year. The inquiry is due to start in Spring 2022. The group led the work to create the National Covid Memorial Wall alongside Led By Donkeys and are campaigning to secure its future as a permanent feature of the Southbank, directly opposite the Houses of Parliament. Our spokespeople, all who have lost a loved one to the virus themselves, have featured in thousands of pieces of media and been quoted on dozens of UK wide front pages.
