About Crossed Wires Festival
Crossed Wires Festival – “The Glastonbury of Podcasting” Launched in 2024, Crossed Wires has quickly established itself as the world’s biggest podcast festival. Every July, Sheffield is transformed into a city-wide celebration of podcasting, bringing together the most in-demand names across entertainment, sport, comedy, food and beyond. After an incredible 2025 edition, we’re building even bigger plans for 2026: more shows, more stages, more world-class talent—and more opportunities for brands to connect with our audience in powerful and memorable ways. Co-founded by industry heavyweights Alice Levine (My Dad Wrote a Porno), Dino Sofos (Persephonica), and James O’Hara (Tramlines), with Greg James (BBC Radio 1) as Creative Director, Crossed Wires has already welcomed an extraordinary lineup of talent, including: Sara Cox Nick Grimshaw Angela Hartnett Jordan North Russell Kane Frank Skinner Michael Palin Nish Kumar Coco Khan What makes Crossed Wires unique is the combination of incredible live talent and a passionate fanbase (70% female, primarily 33–55 y/o). Alongside shows, concerts and after-parties, we offer a truly immersive environment for brand activations, supported by multi-channel media rights. For 2026, we have a range of compelling partnership opportunities designed to help brands build meaningful connections with our audience - before, during and long after the festival weekend. We’d love to explore how we can work together. Contact Alex Crimmens: alex@crossedwires.live
