CRUD- Committee for Rural and Urban Development is a registered Non governmental organization working in health, education & socioeconomic development of disadvantaged poor remote rural people since 1998. Population of our areas about 1.9 million male female ratio are 55:45. Education 22% (Male are then Female). Landscape of our district part of our land submersed by water for six month and another part is hilly areas both side are remote. So communication of hilly areas are offroad, Plain low land during rainy season by boat. On winter either by walking of Rickshaw or TucTuc. about 20% of our population are doing job in private or government, 65% are doing cultivation, Rest of them are doing small business or fishing. Low land during rainy season very popular for fishing. Hilly part are very much popular for tea garden near about 13 teagarden in our district which was established by British. Now few local investor are involve in tea gardening. Recently few resort are develop to attract tourist, but no so popular yet. But it have very good scope for investment. Our health sector are very poor due to small government health budget only 04% of our total budget for our health sector which includes manpower salary also. This why it is very tuff to maintain good health service on such densely populated districts. We have no health insurance,People have to manage all expenses from his own pocket. Same situation on education sector. On our economic are not so good as because natural disasters, environmental pollution, Uncontrolled population, Unemployment are the main burden for our economy. Government try to help to improve but very difficult to manage. So They have to depends on Civil Society, NGOs others to cover all these. We very good environment for international NGOs, We have an separate government Department named NGO Affairs bureau,They regulate and monitoring the all foreign fund very cordially & smoothly.
