About CULTURA BRASIL AUSTIN - CBA

✨ Welcome! We are the bridge between the best cultural memories of a community with roots in Brazil and everyday American life in Austin. Cultura Brasil Austin (CBA) is a nonprofit educational and cultural organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Brazilian culture and pride — rooted in our folklore, history, language, and living traditions such as dance, music, theater, and the many artistic expressions that define us. 🎓 Schools, events, library, and now our new Cultural Center — CBA is a permanently open window to Brazilian culture. Through language classes, workshops, cultural festivals, and art exhibitions, we serve as a vital hub for cultural enrichment and education in Austin. 🌎 A Brazilian-American reference We aim to be a trusted reference for the Brazilian-American community, supporting its development and integration into local life. 🌿 A rich heritage Brazil’s heritage is rooted in Indigenous peoples, West African traditions, and Portuguese ancestry. At CBA, we strive to be a focal point for cultural exchange between the Brazilian-American community and the greater Austin community — especially through the Brazilian-American Cultural Center. 👉 Join us in celebrating, preserving, and sharing the richness of Brazil right here in Austin!
