About Culture Connect CLG

MISSION To promote interculturalism, community cohesion, racial equality and to provide appropriate services and programs that meet the needs of a culturally and linguistically diverse community. AIMS -To promote the sharing/celebration of cultures within the community -To educate communities to recognise the strength in cultural diversity -To encourage communities to embrace differences and celebrate similarities -To challenge racism and discrimination -To promote a more inclusive and friendlier community. OBJECTIVES -To Improve the participation of new communities and ethnic groups. - To provide access to training, information, advice and support. -Support the entire community to address the challenges faced by new communities. -Provide advice and support for individuals, service providers and employers on issues relating to race, equality and cultural awareness. -Provide a platform to share and learn about different cultures, their history, music, idiosyncrasies and how to respect and embrace differences. To achieve our goals, we partner with all parts of society, including: -Individuals -Community groups -Agencies/Service Providers -Corporate and Business
