About CyMVO - Cyprus Medicines Verification Organisation

The Cyprus Medicines Verification Organization (CyMVO) was established in February 2017 as a non-profit legal entity, with its principal members being the Cyprus Association of Pharmaceutical Research and Development Companies (KEFEA) and the Pancyprian Association of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (PAEF). The core mandate of KOEF is to develop and ensure the effective implementation of the Cyprus Medicines Verification System (CyMVS). In fulfilling this mandate, KOEF provides support to all entities legally required to comply with the system and continuously monitors its operation to ensure that it achieves its intended objectives. CyMVO is integrated into a Europe-wide network of national medicines verification organizations, all of which operate collaboratively through the EU Hub, under the management of the European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO). This alignment ensures the integrity and security of the pharmaceutical supply chain both nationally and across the European Union.
