About D.M.S. Design Modelle Studien GmbH

We – D.M.S. GmbH Design Modelle, based in the heart of Munich – design and produce full-scale models and prototypes. For over 30 years, D.M.S. GmbH Design Modelle operated as a medium-sized company, and in 2015 became part of the Schäfer Group. With around 21 experts in Munich and 150 specialists across the entire group, we combine technical excellence, speed, and global sourcing advantages. Our design and exhibition models create powerful first impressions and support proof-of-concept and decision-making long before series production begins. For our customers, this means minimizing risks, reducing costs, and significantly shortening development cycles. Potential weaknesses are identified and resolved early – before they become costly in series production. We are rooted in the automotive industry, where our journey began. Today, we work with international customers, focusing on forward-looking industries such as new mobility and aerospace, while continuing to serve the automotive sector. We deliver the substance that makes ideas real.
