DAISYO CORPORATION is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the operation of restaurant chains. The Company has five business segments. The Restaurant segment operates Japanese-style restaurants under the names Shoya, Nihonkai Shoya and Yarukichaya. Through its subsidiaries, it also operates sushi restaurants, fusion food restaurants, other Japanese-style restaurants, and food catering facilities for hospitals and businesses. The Wholesale segment is engaged in the provision of foodstuff, liquor and beverage to affiliated companies and franchise stores, as well as the wholesale of fresh seafood and dried bonitos. The Real Estate segment leases and manages real estate, and sells cigarettes and beverages. The Franchise segment collects royalties from franchisees. The Others segment is involved in the transportation of foodstuff, and the sale and manufacture of drinking water. The Company is also involved in air condition related business.
