About Dallas Rugby Football Club

Founded in 1968, the Dallas Rugby Football Club (Dallas RFC) is one of the oldest and most respected rugby organizations in Texas and a cornerstone of the North Texas rugby community. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Dallas RFC exists to represent the culture, values, and community of rugby both on and off the pitch, fostering discipline, unity, accountability, respect, and passion across all levels of play. Dallas RFC fields four men’s teams and one women’s team, competing across USA Rugby Divisions I–IV (Men) and Division III (Women), making the club accessible to athletes of all skill levels—from experienced competitors to those new to the sport. The club has a long history of on‑field success, including conference championships, national playoff appearances, and a USA Rugby Gold Cup Championship. Beyond competition, Dallas Rugby is built on family, inclusivity, and service. With players representing 15+ countries and ages ranging from early 20s to 60+, the club reflects the diversity and global spirit of the sport. Dallas RFC also supports and helps manage Dallas Youth Rugby, expanding access to rugby for boys and girls across the metroplex and using sport as a platform for character development and teamwork. Dallas RFC is a charter member of the Texas Rugby Football Union and was the first Texas rugby club to tour overseas, with historic tours to England, Wales, Canada, Australia, and Ireland—cementing its reputation as a leader in U.S. club rugby. The club currently trains and competes in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, with home matches played at Lake Highlands Park, and maintains strong partnerships with local organizations and supporters who help sustain the club’s long‑term vision.
