At DAN Shipping & Chartering, our in-depth local knowledge and understanding of the shipping world ensures we can provide high quality, cost-effective port agency services and dry bulk chartering from our offices located at Hull, Immingham, Port of Tyne, Sunderland, Port of Blyth and Hunterston. Our expert teams around the various ports are available 24 hours a day to provide port agency services that are tailored to our customers’ requirements. Crucially, we act as an intermediary between ship-owners and charterers with our core focus and specialist knowledge revolving around dry bulk cargoes, specifically coal, biomass and aggregates. We currently handle in excess of 10 million tons of dry cargo each year and our chartering brokers have many years’ experience in fixing vessels with all types of dry bulk cargoes to and from destinations worldwide. As an independent agency, we are committed to delivering a professional, friendly service, expert advice and competitive rates to all our customers. We are full members of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (ICS) and hold ISO 9001 accreditation. DAN Shipping & Chartering Ltd is part of the John Good group of companies, specialising in all aspects of shipping and freight management since 1833. John Good is AEO accredited (GB AEOF 00043/10) and this association allows us to offer a full range of additional services to our customers including liner agency, freight forwarding to destinations worldwide, warehousing, distribution and trucking services from our own sites across the UK.
