About Danmarks Folkekirkelige Søndagsskoler (The Danish Sunday School Association)

The Danish Sunday School Association (Danmarks Folkekirkelige Søndagsskoler) is an independent organisation within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Denmark. Its mission is to share the message of Jesus with all children and juniors, regardless of their background or prior knowledge of the Bible. The association is grounded in the Bible and the confessional writings of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, striving to meet each child in their everyday life and provide safe, social, and supportive environments for their development. We also aim to support local children’s ministry, assist leaders in their daily work, and highlight the responsibility of both parents and congregations toward baptised and non-baptised children alike.
