IPLS is short for Interprofessional Learning and Collaberation in the healthcare system. The definition of interprofessional learning and cooperation is when two or more profession groups learn together, from, and with each other in an interactive cooperation with the patient. On the 22nd of March 2010 an initiative from the Danish company from Glostrup Hospital formed Interprofessional Learning and Collaboration in the healthcare system with inspiration from the Center of Interprofessional Education, University of Toronto, Canada. IPLS is responsible for two seminars a year and will regularly send information to its members, whom are spread across Denmark and the Faroe Islands
