About Darkhorse Press - Mississippi's Hometown News Source

Darkhorse Press, LLC brings you Mississippi crime stories you want to see, free of political slant or social commentary. We promise to report the unfiltered truth, regardless of personal or political consequences. We will not sacrifice integrity to win the favor of any audience. CEO and Owner, Therese Apel, started Darkhorse Press in May 2021 with one goal - bring a trustworthy news source to Mississippi, so you feel connected and confident that you know the truth. She bravely reports from the scene of the crime to make sure the story is reported directly to you. You are only receiving the facts. Although our stories will be sad, we want Darkhorse Press to be an inspiring and positive influence in our community and state. Ride this horse with us and let's bring news back as it should be!
