About Data Centers Sustainability Alliance (DCSA)

The Data Center Sustainability Alliance (DCSA) is a global, collaborative initiative uniting operators, investors, regulators, and researchers to accelerate sustainability in digital infrastructure. We’re building an open, interoperable ontology that connects data center standards, technologies, and best practices into a shared knowledge graph, enabling transparency, innovation, and measurable progress across the industry. Our mission is to help the data center ecosystem move from fragmented reporting and siloed sustainability efforts to a common framework for managing impact , covering energy, water, materials, emissions, and circularity. The DCSA’s Orbital Alliance Project is our MVP initiative: a live, modular system that links every sustainability element like pieces of a global LEGO build, flexible, scalable, and designed for collaboration. Established in Singapore, it is a member-funded organization, promoting collaboration of its data center members to build open industry sustainability standards.
