DataPond is a cutting-edge water intelligence system providing **continuous, real-time microbial contamination detection in water.** Developed over years of research at Tel Aviv University, DataPond delivers a breakthrough, cost-effective solution for water suppliers and authorities. DataPond combines proprietary data acquisition methods and advanced AI & ML models. It utilizes real-time monitoring of key standard physical water parameters to nowcast biological contaminants, such as fecal coliforms and E. coli, in compliance with regulations. The data is processed via a cloud system, generating immediate contamination alerts and live reports to water operators and authorities. Currently, DataPond focuses on bio-contamination monitoring in **surface waters,** including rivers, streams, and lakes.
