About Daughters of Kenya TRUST

Daughters of Kenya (DoK) is a non-profit making (National Trust Organization) working towards improving and changing the lives of vulnerable girls and young women in Kenya and beyond. It was established in 2016 and registered on October 19, 2017, as a Corporation Trust, incorporated under the Trustees (Perpetual Succession) Act Cap 164 of the Laws of Kenya. DoK programs target vulnerable girls and young women aged between 12-35 years. DoK strategic Programs are focused on empowering, improving and changing the lives of the vulnerable girls and young mothers in Kenya. While working in urban informal settlements and marginalized communities, we encountered several cases of abuse and exploitation of vulnerable girls which brought us to the realization that this is where help is needed the most.
