About David O'Reilly - Positive Health Coach

I work at the intersection of health, human change, and creative inquiry. My work is grounded in the stories we tell about ourselves, but also the deeper narrative patterns through which we interpret experience over time. These narratives shape meaning, self-understanding, and how we orient ourselves. My role is to support careful reframing, helping people develop being better aligned with present circumstances and future potential. My approach is informed by both formal study and lived practice. I hold an honours degree in philosophy and writing, with postgraduate training in lifestyle medicine and positive psychology, and have spent over two decades engaged in creative wellbeing work internationally. Much of this work unfolds beyond one-to-one settings, through creative practice, gentle physical activity, and community involvement. These contexts allow change to emerge through participation and shared enjoyment, rather than intervention. I came to this work via a non-linear route, moving from an early career in finance into philosophy, creative practice, teaching, endurance sport, and international projects.
