About Daybreakers Day Care Club

Daybreakers was founded by Honor and Michelle, who both know firsthand the challenges of caring for a loved one with memory loss and dementia. Honor, with 30 years in the care home sector saw too many people move into care sooner than needed because caregivers had no respite. Michelle supported her mother with dementia for six years and experienced the same struggle. Together, they created Daybreakers—a members’ club that offers meaningful day care for people living with memory loss and dementia, while giving caregivers the chance to rest, recharge, and access support. The Club aims to provide a safe environment where our members feel a sense of belonging, purpose, and fun.
