About De Soysa & Company (Private) Limited

De Soysa & Company (Private) Limited is ever entwined with the commercial history and industries of the independent Ceylon. Founded in 1942 by Sir Wilfred de Soysa, it furthered the pioneering industrial spirit of his father Sir Charles Henry de Soysa. From its inception, the company has been synonymous as a top-rated supplier of quality raw materials, supplies, machinery, and technology from the best sources worldwide. The company's foray into business was significant at the time, facilitating the development drive that changed hands from the colonial British entrepreneurs to the local industrialists. The establishment of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) and being elected as its inaugural president, Sir Wilfred left an indelible mark in business and trade in Sri Lanka. Along with the world-leading brands represented by the company came the know-how, that nurtured a wide spectrum of industries and service sectors. This is a legacy only a few organizations can emulate. For the past 80 years, our involvement has been on a national scale, in diverse sectors such as plantations, transportation, paint and coatings , food technology, public health, construction , and marine to name a few. We have witnessed the triumphs and tribulations of the global markets and their impact on the Sri Lankan economy. We have survived and responded to every challenge by evolving and taking the right initative. Drawing on the vision of its forebearers and the merits of its sheer resilience, the company sets to chart a new course for its future. #DeSo#Chemical#MonTech#Deutz#Rubber testing machine.
