About Dectar

Dectar is an innovative European cyber security firm focused on proactively preventing cyberattacks and protecting the critical data at the core of every organisation. With offices in Ireland and Italy, the company develops ACSIA XDR Plus (Automated Cyber Security Intelligence Application), an Extended Detection and Response solution, that includes Threat Intelligence and Anti-Surveillance protection in our core XDR product. We deliver a highly evolved and advanced level of cyber protection across hybrid cloud infrastructures, with real time remediation of threats and automation at the core of our design. Our company mission statement is “to democratize the availability of ACSIA as the next modern cyberdefense platform of choice, providing the highest levels of data protection in the market, using open source technology at an affordable price.” Dectar was founded by CEO Stefan Uygur and CAO Donal Kerr. Investors include Enterprise Ireland, French cybersecurity services firm iTrust, and Italian investment fund AVM Gestioni.

Founded in 2014 by Anand Rajendran and Suresh Jambunathan.
