About Deerfield Ag Services, Inc.
Deerfield Ag Services was started in 1959 as a 93-acre corn and hog farm by Boyd Wallbrown Jr. and his wife, Joan, at the present site in Deerfield, Ohio. As Boyd increased his acreage, he saw a need and opportunity to sell products and services to area farmers, culminating into an ag services business. Through Boyd's perseverance, innovation and willingness to take risks, the business grew into a full-service country elevator, always aimed at meeting farmer's needs. Currently, Deerfield Ag Services supports NE Ohio and Western PA farmers in many ways: 4 convenient grain locations with access to rail, a full-service agronomy location including fertilizer, chemical, application, VRT, input loans, soil sampling, crop scouting and crop insurance. By working with Deerfield, farmers experience the 'Deerfield Difference'. Farmers can always count on: Fast response from our staff Availability when and where you need us Relationships that last generations Marketing strategies that are disciplined and designed to produce consistent profits.
