About Denton County Military Veteran Peer Network

Our mission is to facilitate connection within the Veteran Community. We provide direct peer-support to military service members, Veterans, and their family members (SMVF). We identify and screen resources, and collectively contribute to our local communities. Through our own experiences, we are able to relate and build trust with peers going through difficult situations. These shared experiences can be used as tools to promote growth and support. While our mission is to facilitate connection, that connection might look different to each unique Veteran. Whether it's having coffee with a peer, going on a hike, or getting your hands dirty in an art class, there’s something for everyone in the Military Veteran Peer Network.
