About Department Store for the Mind

Department Store for the Mind is a new retail brand that designs and sells beautiful things for thoughtful people. In a world increasingly stuffed with bland and thoughtless communication, we are championing a more mindful and compassionate approach to everyday living. It's increasingly common to hear people say they feel anxious, overwhelmed or misunderstood. Retail has traditionally been part of the problem - we have too much stuff but too little sense of our real psychological needs. At the Department Store for the Mind, we believe retail can be part of the solution. Our stores are places to explore what’s going on in our own minds and other people's, and to find goods that help us connect the two. www.deptstoreforthemind.com
