Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) is a global platform dedicated to empowering young minds through mobile filmmaking and creative storytelling. With the belief that anyone with a mobile device can tell impactful stories, DIMFF encourages participation from aspiring filmmakers across the world. Founded as an initiative of the Media Studies and Journalism Department at the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), DIMFF has grown into an international movement that promotes innovation, inclusivity, and accessibility in filmmaking. Guided by the motto “New Generation, New Tools, New Communication,” the festival provides opportunities for young creators to showcase their work, develop their skills, and connect with a global network of storytellers. Through film screenings, workshops, masterclasses, and community engagement programs, DIMFF aims to nurture creativity, build leadership, and inspire the next generation of filmmakers.
