About dHKarchitects

As a full-service design firm, we offer architecture, master planning and urban design, and interior design. dHKarchitects operates on a straightforward premise: buildings should work for the people who use them. Embedded in the communities of Victoria and Nanaimo, the firm has a collaborative approach to design, functioning as a network of approachable experts and creative puzzle-solvers. The practice is defined by its deep understanding of Vancouver Island, navigating regional logistics, complex municipal codes, and distinct topography to deliver solutions that are both ambitious and buildable. Our clients work directly with project architects, ensuring a process characterized by clarity rather than complexity. This is architecture without ego—driven by a commitment to the urban fabric and a genuine respect for the budget, the vision, and the diverse needs of the community.
