DIG Engineering Ltd. delivers geotechnical engineering consulting services across Metro Vancouver, the Lower Mainland, Sea-to-Sky corridor, and throughout B.C., building on the legacy of Davies Geotechnical Inc., which has served the region since 2001. We support projects of all types and scale, from single-family homes and infill projects to high-rise towers with deep parking structures, municipal works, and commercial/industrial facilities. Our expertise includes: - Site investigations & testing - boreholes, in-house CPT/SCPT, soils lab testing, and analysis - Foundation design & settlement analysis - shallow and deep foundations, preload, ground improvement, and excavation support - Shoring and excavation design - shotcrete and anchors/soil nail walls, soldier pile & lagging, sheet and secant pile walls, and underpinning. - Construction support - density testing, subgrade reviews, instrumentation, monitoring, and responsive field memos - Specialized designs and drawings - seismic/liquefaction assessments, slope stability, retaining walls, dewatering, soft soil site preloading, and ground improvement (densification).
