The Discure System is designed to treat and reverse degenerative disc disease (DDD), healing the disc, reducing pain, and restoring function to patients, via a minimally invasive, implantable bioelectronic approach. Unlike existing treatments, that are symptom-focused, the Discure System is a disease-modifying solution, designed to reduce the use of opioids and the need for invasive back surgery. The company received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation, and an award for “Best New Technology in Spine Care in 2021” at the North American Spine Society (NASS) annual meeting, by a panel of KOL spinal surgeons and neurosurgeons. Investors include Johnson & Johnson, Bold Capital, and multiple US-based hospital networks.
