About Diya Women Football Club

Diya is the oldest women’s football and futsal club of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, founded in 2002. It is also a mix-gender grassroots football academy. Ever since its creation, we play in the National women football championship, the top competition in Pakistan. We also take part in international friendly tournaments, such as Gothia Cup or Norway Cup, representing Pakistan. Diya has trained over 2,000 female players, including many license female coaches from the Asian football confederation (AFC). We are proud that some of our players are part of the Pakistan women’s national team. More than a club, Diya promotes women’s empowerment and spreads passion for football. We recruit girls, teenagers and women regardless of their social, economic, cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds. More than a sport, football is a space for dialogue and acceptance of diversity. Diya Women Football Club also has a partner overseas, Diya W.F.C. Europe, to conduct operations and projects out of Pakistan. Email: diyawomenfc1@live.com
