About DKT International Tanzania

DKT Tanzania, a nonprofit organization commenced operations in 2015 with the goal of bringing DKT’s innovative vision and reproductive health efforts to East Africa. Since its inception, DKT Tanzania has established and grown its reproductive health product portfolio to include several brands of condoms, IUDs, oral contraceptives, emergency contraceptive pills and MVA kits that are now staples in the local contraceptive market. Through outreach missions, social media campaigns and sponsorships, DKT is continuously enhancing brand loyalty among its Tanzanian customers. Each brand (BULL, Fiesta, Kiss, Trust & KARE) has benefitted from DKT Tanzania’s partnerships with various recognizable entities. By expanding the visibility of our brands, in 2021, DKT Tanzania delivered 393,536 couple years of protection (CYPs) and sold total of 5.8 million condoms, 1.2 million oral and emergency contraceptives and 1.3 million long term methods like IUCDs, manual vacuum aspiration kits, misoprostol, implanons & implants. Moreover, in our commitment to providing contraceptives of the highest quality, DKT Tanzania’s commodities are manufactured in WHO or European certified manufacturing facilities, with TMDA registrations secured before being imported into Tanzania.
