The Zagreb County Health Center is a primary and specialist-consultative health care institution established at the end of 2003 by merging eight health centers in the Zagreb County. The merger was carried out based on the Decision of the Zagreb County Government of 28 January 2003 in accordance with the provisions of Article 68 of the Health Care Act (Official Gazette 121/03). Due to the specific geographical location of the Zagreb County and the organization of business, the headquarters of the Institution's Management are located in Samobor, Ljudevita Gaja 37. The founder of the Institution is the Zagreb County, and the rights and duties of the founder are performed by the competent bodies of the Zagreb County. The Institution is managed by the Board of Directors of the Health Center and is represented by the director, Dr.sci. Večeslav Bergman, Dr. dent. med. specialist in dental prosthetics. Primary healthcare: general/family medicine, dental healthcare (multi-purpose), women's healthcare, preschool children's healthcare, occupational medicine, laboratory diagnostics, patronage healthcare, ambulance transport, pharmacy activities, health care, palliative patient care.
