About Donate

Less than 2.1 cents of every dollar donated in the U.S. goes to organizations focused on women and girls. That's 2.04% of all charitable giving. We started Donate because we think that number should be higher. What we do Donate is a charity platform built specifically for causes that support women and children. When someone gives through our app, they see exactly who receives their donation. Not a fund. Not a category. A person, a family, a specific need. Donors get updates on the cases they support. They receive thank-you messages from the people they helped. They can track where their money went and what it accomplished. How we work with nonprofits We partner with verified organizations that focus on women, girls, and children. Our partners use Donate to run fundraising campaigns for specific cases, and we handle the technology, payment processing, and donor communication. There's no cost to join the platform. We take a small percentage of donations to cover operations. Everything is disclosed upfront. Who we are Donate is a nonprofit organization, not a tech startup. Our leadership team is mostly women with backgrounds in technology and social impact. We built this platform because we saw a gap between what donors want (transparency, connection, proof of impact) and what most giving platforms offer. We're based in the U.S. and work with partners globally. Get in touch If you run a nonprofit serving women or children and want to learn more about partnership, message us here or visit donate-app.com.
