About Downtown Avenue

Downtown Avenue is a Las Vegas-based country duo featuring Christie George and Dejo Andersson. Together, they deliver a powerful full-band live experience in a compact duo format, combining live guitar, bass, percussion, looping, harmonies, and two lead vocalists, all without relying on backing tracks. Known for strong musicianship, crowd connection, humor, and authentic country energy, Downtown Avenue performs more than 200 shows a year and has built a reputation for bringing a bigger sound than audiences expect from just two people on stage. Their performances blend tight arrangements, live intensity, and a genuine love for country music, creating a show that works equally well in high-volume venues, special events, and more intimate settings. Based in Las Vegas, Downtown Avenue continues to grow its presence through live performance, original music, and content that reflects the duo’s real-life chemistry, musical depth, and cross-cultural story.
