About Dublin City Lido

Dublin City Lido is a grassroots campaign group advocating for the development of a public, professionally managed and socially inclusive outdoor heated swimming pool in Dublin. Our vision is to create an inclusive, accessible, and affordable space that promotes health and wellbeing, engagement with sport, and a sense of community. This will cater to all accomplished swimmers, learners and non-swimmers. Our mission is to develop an outstanding outdoor public swimming facility at George’s Dock, Dublin, vacant since 2021. We believe Dublin has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build an inspiring municipal asset that will provide opportunities, foster community, and support the regeneration of one of the most densely populated and socially and ethnically diverse areas in Ireland.
