Durantic is the control plane for AI bare-metal infrastructure. When teams repatriate GPU workloads from hyperscalers, they leave the control plane behind — provisioning, networking, storage, and failover simply don’t exist on raw servers. Durantic provides the missing infrastructure layer: one agent, one binary, cloud-class operations on bare-metal GPU fleets. Think the VMware stack — provisioning, SDN, storage fabric, and failover — but orchestrating the Linux kernel directly instead of a hypervisor. No virtualization overhead, no scheduling jitter, and 100% of GPU silicon goes to the workload. The Durantic agent provides: • Single-command bare-metal provisioning via kexec • Automatic WireGuard mesh networking with iBGP and eBPF traffic steering • ZFS-based storage fabric for model and dataset distribution • Sub-second BGP failover across heterogeneous infrastructure All without PXE, IPMI, or manual configuration. Provisioning is built around OCI images, so familiar container workflows work everywhere. A single control plane manages connectivity, configuration, and operations across providers while customers retain full control of traffic, identity, and secrets.
