The Dutchess County Historical Society is an independent, private 501c3 serving the public since 1914. We are the leading go-to source for county history with archives, publications including the longest-serving historical journal in NYS, the DCHS Yearbook. Exhibits, lectures, history awards, and the convening of conferences round out programming for members of the Historical Society and the community at large. Our financial support comes from memberships, donations, grants, and business sponsorships.
