About E&K Grants LLC

E&K Grants LLC is a mission-driven consulting business founded to strategically support nonprofit organizations’ grant writing and fundraising efforts, operated by co-owners Emma Jones, PhD and Kathleen Johnson, MPP. Together, we bring 30 years of experience furthering the missions of social service and social justice nonprofit organizations through thousands of successful grant proposals to all types of Foundations (private, community, corporate, DAF, and more) and all levels of government (city, county, state, federal, and more). Combined, we've raised $40 million in grant funds, and we have implemented systems that significantly increased both efficiency and revenue at the organizations with whom we’ve worked. Whether you need full-scale grants support or targeted strategy, we offer flexible ways to partner: 1) Full-Service Outsourced Grants Department (retainer-based): Access a dedicated, outsourced grants team providing full-service grant support for a fraction of the cost of in-house staffing. Service model includes strategy consultation, project management, prospect pipeline cultivation, and written deliverables. 2) Grants Strategy Reports (Flat-Fee): Set smart goals with our signature Strategy Reports. These tools leverage the proven processes that we have developed over our years of experience. All reports include custom analyses and targeted recommendations to support improved organizational decision-making. 3) Targeted Grants Support (Hourly): Add flexible, expert capacity where you need it most through à la carte access to any part of our expert grants toolkit. Targeted grants support services are super-streamlined so that we can add the value you need as your “on-call” grants experts, from getting projects started to bringing them over the finish line.
