About East Bay Tea Societea

East Bay Tea Societea is a Bay Area–based community platform and resource hub for tea enthusiasts, focused on fostering meaningful connections through shared interest, education, and in-person experiences. We curate content, events, and conversations that bring tea lovers together around culture, tradition, and thoughtful engagement beyond digital-only interactions. Founded as a grassroots initiative, East Bay Tea Societea has evolved into a community-driven portal serving tea lovers across the San Francisco Bay Area. Our offerings include a regular newsletter, curated community events, themed gatherings, walks, and pop-ups designed to encourage participation, discovery, and sustained engagement. At EBTS, tea is the unifying thread, while community is the engine. We operate as a bridge between tea culture and community building, creating a focused, interest-led ecosystem that supports connection, visibility, and long-term relationship growth within the regional tea landscape.
