About Eastern Shore of Virginia Broadband Authority
ESVBA is a public authority created jointly by Accomac County and Northampton County to construct the “backbone” of the fiber optic network here on the shore that runs from the Bay Bridge tunnel along Route 13 into Maryland. Constructed with grants from the state & federal government, the backbone is now complete. We currently offer connections to businesses and internet service providers, and are accepting proposals for additional service providers.
