Welcome to the next generation of Waste Management Equipment only from Ecofast Environmental UK Ltd! From our design office in Milan Italy, opened in 1993 to our new office and manufacturing base in the UK, we design and manufacture a wide range of food waste reduction equipment to provide specialist, off the self or bespoke solutions for catering establishments across the globe. Being a “Made In Britain” manufacturer offers a range of benefits for both the seller and the consumer including a lower carbon footprint, a quicker turnaround, support of the local economy and more. For almost 30 years, Ecofast have maintained a commitment to developing the world’s leading Food Waste Management reduction equipment for the commercial catering and residential sectors. Following a total redesign of the product range, Ecofast are once again introducing the next generation of commercial kitchen food waste management equipment. Our new food waste management equipment, redesigned to reduce water and electrical consumption, lower installation and operating costs whilst reducing the downtime over the life cycle of the product. By the very nature of establishments serving food, they create food waste. Unless effectively processed every 1 kilo of food waste produces 6 litres of methane. No matter how effective your supply chain and logistics or your waste monitoring system, eventually there is always food waste that needs to be dealt with. With the changing of regulations in England, following on from Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, food waste will need to be separated and stored ready for collection unless processed by an approved manner. Ecofast’s product solutions meets these legislative changes by supporting the UK’s food waste to energy direction. The role of the hospitality industry is now to embrace these changes and the circular economy and champion the environmental fight along with other industries.
