About Ecological Consultants Association of Victoria (ECA Vic)

Ecological consulting began in Victoria in the late 1970s. Since then, the ecological consulting industry has seen significant growth and change. The number of practicing consultancies grew to over one hundred in 2017. Recognising this diversification presents challenges to maintaining a consistently high level of quality. ECA Vic was formed to support all current and future ecological consultants so that collectively we can provide the highest standard of service, reflecting the principles of ‘scientific method’ and ‘ecologically sustainable development’.
