About Ecolyte

Ecolyte develops next-generation, safe, and sustainable electrolyte materials for advanced energy storage systems. Using a proprietary deep eutectic solvent (DES)–based gel technology, Ecolyte replaces flammable liquid electrolytes with a non-flammable, thermally stable alternative capable of operating above 400 °C. The electrolyte delivers high ionic conductivity and energy densities up to 230 Wh/kg, enabling high-performance batteries with extended lifetime and enhanced safety. Its wide electrochemical stability window supports demanding applications including electric mobility and next-generation electronics. Compared to conventional electrolytes, Ecolyte improves safety, reduces environmental impact, and offers cost-effective scalability, accelerating the toward sustainable energy systems.
