About Ecommerce Innovation Alliance

The Ecommerce Innovation Alliance (EIA) is a non-profit trade association representing small and mid-sized U.S.-based ecommerce businesses, online retailers, marketplace sellers, technology providers and digital entrepreneurs. We advocate for balanced public policy and practical regulation impacting the digital economy, including data privacy, consumer protection, TCPA compliance, digital marketing, trade policy, tariffs, and the Section 321 de minimis exemption. Ecommerce businesses operate in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment shaped by federal and state legislation, enforcement actions, and emerging compliance standards. EIA works with Congress, federal agencies, and policymakers to promote clear rules, predictable compliance frameworks, and fair enforcement that protect consumers while supporting small business growth. Our advocacy covers key ecommerce issues such as privacy law, SMS and marketing regulation, cross-border trade, digital taxation, marketplace policy, payments, logistics, and supply chain challenges. We provide policy analysis, regulatory insight, and representation to ensure ecommerce businesses have a strong voice. EIA members gain access to timely policy updates, advocacy leadership, industry insights, and a network of ecommerce innovators committed to a competitive and sustainable digital ecosystem. If you are an ecommerce founder, online seller, DTC brand, compliance professional, or digital commerce leader navigating privacy law, TCPA risk, trade uncertainty, or marketplace regulation, EIA is your advocate. Join the Ecommerce Innovation Alliance and help shape the future of ecommerce policy. Learn more and become a member at www.ecomm-alliance.org.
