About Econnect Communication

Econnect Communication: Bringing science to life Econnect Communication is Australia’s longest-running science communication consultancy, transforming complex scientific concepts into engaging stories since 1995. We specialise in communicating creatively about science, natural resource management, and the environment. What we do: · Tell stories to make science accessible and engaging. We take complex, lengthy and often sensitive information and distil it into concise and simple plain English – tailored to the needs of your specific audiences (writing, editing, interpretive work, social media, visuals and videos). · Deliver workshops to give people confidence and improved skills. We train researchers and managers in communication skills (media, presenting, writing, social media, photography, engagement, strategy, communication planning). · Plan communication for awareness and behaviour change. We work with researchers, and people in programs and organisations to help them plan and implement their communication through strategies that are informed by principles of risk communication and focused on participatory activities. Why choose us: · Science communication experts: Over 30 years of experience in creative science communication. · Informed by our own research: Our communication research informs our practice to ensure excellence. · Tailored exactly to your needs: The only way to meet your audiences’ needs is to deliver entirely custom strategies, products and workshops.
